The prominent Pakistani cricketers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan reach Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. The news spread through a picture on Twitter where both the players can be seen standing in Madinah in front of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.
Mohammad Rizwan is accompanied by his mother and wife on this auspicious journey and Babar Azam came with his mother. As per the sources, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are given special permission from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to embark on the spiritual journey of Hajj, the most significant form of worship in Islam.
Since both the cricketers intended to perform Hajj with their families, they are exempted from the ongoing training camp in Lahore. They will join the team later in Karachi during the first week of July as the Pakistani team has to play against Sri Lanka in an upcoming Test tour.
