Bahraini king welcomes growing defense cooperation with Pakistan.

During a meeting with Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Bahraini King Hamad lauded Pakistan-Bahrain defence cooperation.

During a meeting with Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Nadeem Raza, Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed expanding defence cooperation with Islamabad, Bahrain’s state news agency said on Thursday. On Sunday, Gen. Raza arrived in Bahrain.

He was welcomed by Field Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), and met with Gen. Mohammed bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the king’s brother, to discuss bilateral military relations.
Gen. Raza met with Bahrain’s monarch on Wednesday.

The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said that “His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended strong connections binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, highlighting steadily-growing ties on all levels, notably military and defence cooperation.”
