It was a lucky day for pacer Haris Raid and Naseem Shah as they got the spotlight for their marvellous bowling. Whereas, Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan came under fire after he dropped two catches.
Shadab dropped the catch twice of Rajapaksa, who then out at 71 runs in 45 balls.
Rajapaksa’s catch was firstly dropped at mid-off and secondly he collides with Asif Ali who was in position to take the catch.
Shadab got criticised by fans about his performance that allowed Sri Lanka to target more.
However, Rawalpindi Express came forward to defend Shadab. He updated his Twitter, “He is our best fielder. Shadab Khan is just having a bad day.”
Whereas, Shoaib Akhtar maintained that national cricket team need to work on their catch calling.
