Big Milestone for Pakistan! China to Start Routing their Internet Traffic through Pakistan

During the Operational Launch ceremony of the Carrier Neutral Pakistan Internet Exchange & Data Center in Islamabad on January 29, 2024, Dr. Umar Saif, Caretaker Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, marked the occasion as a momentous day for the Pakistan telecom and IT industry.

Dr. Umar Saif, in collaboration with key entities including PTCL, SCO, PTA, De CIX, PEACE Cable, and China Mobile, announced the achievement of three significant milestones, paving the way for Pakistan’s prominence in the regional IT landscape.
