Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has reinstated the health card program for all residents of the province. This means that starting from the 1st of Ramadan, everyone living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can receive free medical treatment using this health card.
To support this decision, the government has allocated Rs 5 billion to the State Life Insurance Company immediately. This funding will enable the continuation of free medical services under the health card program. Additionally, it has been decided to provide Rs 5 billion every month to settle the debts owed by the State Life Insurance Company.
Gandapur emphasized that the well-being of the people is a top priority for the government. He highlighted the importance of the health card program as a significant step towards public welfare and assured that it will continue without any changes. He also emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the honest and fair implementation of the scheme.
Furthermore, Gandapur pledged to prioritize the repayment of State Life’s debts. He also discussed plans to introduce reforms to ensure transparency and accountability in the program, aiming to maximize the benefits for the people.
