Big News for Pakistanis: PM Youth Programme Provide to Get Loans, Laptops & Overseas Jobs Now!

Pakistan’s young generation has received a major boost as the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme rolls out fresh opportunities in business, education and overseas employment. Officials say the initiative is designed to give young people the tools they need to build a better future.

Under the programme, young entrepreneurs can now apply for interest-free loans between Rs. 300,000 and Rs. 600,000 to launch their businesses. For those aiming to work abroad, special loans of up to Rs. 1 million have been introduced to cover visa and travel costs. The government has allocated Rs. 75 billion this year while more than Rs. 186 billion has already been distributed in earlier phases.

The scheme is not limited to financial help. A Digital Youth Hub has been set up to link young people with training programmes and job opportunities across Pakistan.

In higher education, the laptop distribution plan has been revived, with 100,000 laptops scheduled to reach students by October. Scholarships and university grants are also being restored, ensuring wider access to education.

Sports and culture are another big focus. From providing professional training to athletes like Arshad Nadeem to promoting traditional games such as tent pegging, the programme is supporting both modern and heritage sports.

Pakistan has also gained international recognition by securing the chairmanship of the Commonwealth Youth Alliance Secretariat and the Youth Ministers’ Task Force, creating partnerships with 56 countries.

Looking ahead, a youth festival is on the cards, which will include start-up guidance, job fairs, and global skill masterclasses. Officials stressed that transparency will remain a priority in every aspect of the programme.
