BYD Officially Launched Electric Vehicles in Pakistan, Here’s How Much It’ll Cost You

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has officially launched two of its popular models, the BYD Seal and the BYD Atto 3, in Pakistan, according to PakWheels, a leading automobile website. This introduction marks an important step in the country’s shift towards electric mobility, offering consumers new options in the growing EV market.

The BYD Seal, priced at Rs 14.79 million for the Dynamic model, boasts an impressive battery capacity of 82.56 kWh. With a range of 650 kilometers, this vehicle is designed for both performance and efficiency.

The Seal features a Blade Battery technology, which allows its four-wheel drive version to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. For those needing quick charging, the BYD Seal can charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes, making it a convenient choice for modern drivers. The performance variant even achieves 0-100 km/h in a remarkable 3.8 seconds.

On the other hand, the BYD Atto 3 is priced at Rs 8.9 million for the Advance model. It comes equipped with a 49.92 kWh battery, providing a range of 410 kilometers and an acceleration time of 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. Like the Seal, the Atto 3 also features the efficient Blade Battery and supports quick charging from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes.

In 2023, BYD sold over 412,000 Yuan Plus EVs, known as the Atto 3 in international markets, highlighting the growing popularity of its electric vehicles. With the launch of these two models in Pakistan, BYD aims to capture the attention of local consumers and promote the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
