CDA Plans to Transform Islamabad Into a Tourist-Friendly City

Islamabad will be transformed into a tourist-friendly city by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

In this regard, the newly-appointed CDA Board approved the establishment of a facilitation center in the city, where tourists will be directed regarding the available facilities in the federal capital, during its inaugural meeting on Wednesday.

The CDA Board of Directors has agreed to initiate a public awareness campaign to highlight the importance of visiting historical sites in Islamabad and its environs.

It also authorized the immediate functionalization of all libraries in the federal capital to encourage the culture of book reading.

The CDA Board of Directors has also planned to host activities to raise awareness of the value of national culture.
