Changan Pakistan has raised the prices of several of its vehicle models after the announcement of the federal budget. The price increase applies to some of the company’s most popular cars, including the Oshan X7, Alsvin, Karvaan, and Sherpa.
The price hike ranges from Rs 45,000 to Rs 200,000, depending on the model. Among these, the Oshan X7 has seen the highest increase. Both the 5-seater and 7-seater FutureSense (FS) versions of the Oshan X7 are now Rs 200,000 more expensive.
The Alsvin sedan range has also been affected. All its variants have seen a price jump of Rs 90,000 to Rs 100,000. Meanwhile, the Karvaan and Sherpa models have also experienced price adjustments, though their increases are slightly lower.
Changan Pakistan explained that the decision to increase prices was due to rising fuel costs, higher operational expenses, and economic changes brought on by the federal budget. The company said that these challenges made it difficult to maintain previous prices.
Car buyers across the country will now have to pay more for these Changan vehicles, and the company encourages customers to check the updated prices at their nearest dealership.
This move reflects the overall impact of recent economic policies, which have affected the auto industry and other sectors. With inflation and costs continuing to rise, more automakers may also revise their prices in the coming months.
