China has has recently assured Pakistan that it will work hard to uplift the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for the benefit of both countries’ peoples.
The assurance came from Nong Rong, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, who praised PM Imran Khan’s dedication to the CPEC, as well as the CPEC agreements and timetables for project completion.
In a tweet on Friday, the Chinese envoy said that China admired Prime Minister Imran Khan’s dedication in driving the CPEC’s growth.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the requirements of the CPEC agreements, emphasizing the need of sticking to the deadlines set for the completion of CPEC projects.
However, in order to obtain maximum benefits for the country, the PM Imran Khan again stressed the importance of policy consistency for long-term projects.
