China claims that its quantum computer can solve the problem in 70 minutes, whereas Google’s computer takes 8 years

Jian-Wei Pan and his colleagues from China’s University of Science and Technology in Hefei have demonstrated that they have developed the world’s most powerful quantum computer, beating Google’s previous record. Their quantum computer solved a problem in less than an hour that would have taken eight years for the world’s most powerful classical supercomputer to solve.
