China Lauds Pakistan Army’s Role as Vital Contributor on Regional Peace

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, recently visited the People’s Republic of China on an official trip. This visit was an important step in strengthening the long-standing friendship and strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.

During his stay in Beijing, General Asim Munir held several important meetings with senior Chinese leaders from both the political and military sides. These discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries and addressing regional and global matters of mutual interest.

He met with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Their conversations covered a wide range of topics, including regional security, global developments, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Both countries agreed on the importance of working together to handle shared challenges and support peace and stability in the region.
