More flights will be received by Pakistan claiming to be the relief goods sent by the friendly states for the havoc victims. Abnormal monsoon have been witnessed since mid-June.
In the recent weeks, more than 30 million people were affected by the recent floods. However, the federal government has announced an emergency in the country and urged at the International level.
Earlier, two flights consisting of relief goods landed in Pakistan on Monday.
Relief goods includes food items, medical supplies and tents for the shelter of displaced people.
Whereas, ongoing relief operations flights would be received by Pakistan today from UAE, Turkiye and China.
Meanwhile, Canada has announced $5 million as aid for the flood victims.
During a meeting, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Canada Zaheer Janjua thanked the government of Canada for their support.
He shared his view that Pakistanis should also come forward and took part in relief funds as flood have caused severe damage to public buildings and infrastructure.
