China’s 600Kmph ‘floating’ Maglev Train is now the world’s fastest Ground vehicle

According to Chinese state media, the government has launched a maglev train capable of reaching speeds of 600 kilometres per hour.

At its top speed, the train built in China’s beach city of Qingdao would be the fastest ground vehicle on the planet. With no contact between the body and the rail, the maglev train “levitates” above the track.
