According to a senior government official, Chinese companies have been willing to invest $15 billion in the petrochemical industry in Pakistan.
The Chinese companies will invest in the petrochemical sector in Gwadar, including the Gwadar to China energy pipeline project, said Fareeha Mazhar, federal investment minister. Fareeha Mazhar said.
She said A PP was hoping that Chinese companies would invest in Pakistan in the energy, agriculture, tourism and other sectors in Pakistan. Investment in various projects relating to Chinese investment is underway in Pakistan.
