The Christian community in Okara held a one-day national prayer festival, gathering to pray for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and prosperity, as well as for the strength and safety of the country’s armed forces.
The event, led by Pastor Anwar Fazal, brought together bishops, pastors, district officials, and hundreds of community members united in faith and hope for a better future.
During his address, Pastor Fazal emphasized that Pakistan belongs to all its citizens, regardless of religion or background. He called for unity, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to building a peaceful and prosperous nation.
The gathering also celebrated Pakistan’s diversity and interfaith harmony, highlighting the vital role of all communities in strengthening the country’s social fabric.
Participants expressed optimism that such collective prayers and national solidarity could pave the way for greater understanding and progress across the nation.
