Clean and green Pakistan is our vision says, PM Khan

On Monday while addressing the Tiger Force in Naran, PM Imran Khan said that Clean and green Pakistan is the PTI government’s vision, and together will have to leave a lush green Pakistan for the future generations.

“Perhaps any country in the world has beauty similar to Pakistan,” said PM.

The prime minister further said that locals should be hired to stop the illegal cutting of trees. “We will have to stop the spread of filth along the Kunhar River. Illegal forest cutting will not be tolerated as Kaghan valley has much beauty, which is not present anywhere else in the world, ” PM added.

The prime minister further added that the ‘Ten Billion Tree Tsunami’ project would alter the environment, where enhanced tourism will generate jobs and guarantee the prosperity of the country.

“Promotion of tourism is a challenge for the government & an enormous amount is being spent on environmental projects in the country,” said PM Imran.

The projects, which the prime minister launched, contained plantation on the banks of Kunhar River, motorbikes distribution amongst Community River Rangers, growing the salmon fish in the Kunhar River, the stipulation of 5.5 million eco-friendly biodegradable bags, emergency response service for tourists, delivery of equipment and machines for garbage collection.

A day before, the PM advised the nation on Sunday to get ready for “the biggest tree planting campaign in our history”.

“I want all Pakistanis, especially our youth, to gear up for the biggest tree planting campaign in our history. We have a lot of catching up to do, & we will gear up this monsoon season for our plantation drive – the biggest in Pakistan’s history,” the prime minister said on Twitter.
