A clerk at the Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation allegedly went on a violent rampage after being transferred to another department. According to reports, he became furious over the decision and stormed into the office of CEO Imran Ali along with two accomplices.

The group allegedly held the CEO and Law Officer Naeemul Hasan hostage inside the office. They reportedly threatened both officials and created panic within the building. During the incident, the CEO was injured after being struck with a pistol.

The attackers also damaged important official records and office property before fleeing the scene. Authorities are said to be investigating the matter and searching for those involved.
