CM Maryam Sends 10 Elderly Women from Dar ul Aman on Hajj

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab, organized a special initiative for 10 elderly women from Darul Aman to fulfill their dream of performing Hajj, underscoring the importance of treating them with utmost respect and care, akin to mothers.

During a gathering, she encouraged the women to pray for Pakistan’s safety and prosperity. Nawaz Sharif, who also attended the meeting, expressed optimism for a brighter future for the less fortunate.

Accompanied by their caretaker, Sumaira Aslam, the women will embark on a 21-day journey to Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage.

Maryam Nawaz further emphasized the critical need for environmental protection and announced stringent measures to combat plastic pollution.

Additionally, she extended financial assistance to a patient suffering from thalassemia and allocated funds for the medical treatment of Punjabi poet Tajjamul Kaleem.

This initiative reflects Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to social welfare and environmental sustainability, aiming to uplift marginalized communities and safeguard the environment for future generations.
