Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Amir expressed his thanks to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her help in resolving a recent issue involving his family during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.
Amir had complained about the Deputy Commissioner of Multan treating his family unfairly at the stadium. After Chief Minister Nawaz reportedly stepped in and addressed the matter, Amir expressed his gratitude and mentioned that all misunderstandings had been cleared by the Deputy Commissioner of Multan.
Before this, Amir had asked for action to be taken regarding the incident and had criticized the Deputy Commissioner for misusing their authority. Allegedly, the families of Amir and other players were asked to leave the players’ box during a PSL match.
