Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the National Horse & Cattle Show 2025 at Fortress Stadium, bringing back this grand event after a gap of 35 years.
Maryam Nawaz, showing her deep love for Punjab, officially opened the event with a digital inauguration by placing her handprint. The opening ceremony featured a traditional buggy ride, adding a touch of history and culture to the occasion. This was followed by a formal salute platform ceremony, where dignitaries and officials paid their respects.
The National Horse & Cattle Show is a celebration of Punjab’s rich cultural heritage, showcasing traditional livestock, equestrian displays, and local customs. The event aims to revive age-old traditions and promote Pakistan’s agricultural and livestock sectors while providing an entertaining and educational experience for visitors.
