CM Sindh to Allocate Rs 1.5 Billion for Repair of People Bus Service Routes

Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Chief Minister has instructed the transport department to get all the routes repaired of the People Bus Service so that it could operate smoothly and properly.

Recently, chief minister chaired a meeting and forward an instructions.

Meeting was chaired along with provincial ministers Shahrjeel Memon, Nasir Shah, Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput, Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon, PSCM Fayaz Jatoi, Secretary LG Najam Shah, Secretary Transport Haleem Shaikh, DIG Traffic, heads of KMTA, KDA, Municipal Commissioner Karachi and others concerned.

Approval was provided to concern for repairing a the seven routes of it and instructed transport department to have concern with local government department.

Murad Shah approved Rs1.5 billion, whereas he directed to get the work complete within 40 days.

The 29.5 km long route from Model Colony to Tower needed some asphalt work Model Colony, Regal Chowk area, whereas the area of Malir halt, FTC, Aram Bagh, it needed pavement works and repairing of damaged sewerage/drainage lines in some areas, as per CM in a meeting instructed.

Furthermore, 33 km long route 2 starting from Nagan Chorangi to Singer Chorangi needed asphalt works in areas like Hyderi, National Stadium, and Shan Chowrangi roads while FTC bridge, left turn to Liaquatabad No. 10 had broken pavements and damaged sewerage lines, which needed to be fixed.

Directions were also passed to transport department by chief minister to have 250 bus stops more within 20days.
