Coca-Cola Pakistan installs 30th water filtration plant equipped with latest technology in Pakistan.

Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCI Pakistan) established a state-of-the-art water filtration plant for the people of Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as part of its PAANI CSR project (KP). The plant is near to CCI Pakistan’s seventh production facility, which is now under development in Haripur.

The launch of CCI’s 30th water filtration facility in Pakistan was virtually celebrated on December 6, 2021, at the office of Mr. Omar Ayub Khan, Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Economic Affairs. Senior CCI executives attended the event, including Mr. Ahmet Kursad Ertin, General Manager of CCI Pakistan, Mr. Servet Yildirim, Group PAC Director of CCI, and other senior officials.

This water filtration system use ultrafiltration water treatment technology to create up to 2,000 litres of safe and clean drinking water per hour.

As a result of this latest breakthrough, CCI has now installed 30 water filtering units across Pakistan. PAANI, CCI Pakistan’s flagship project, now supplies safe drinking water to over 1 million people every day across the country, including in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Layyah, Tharparkar, Rawalpindi, and now Haripur, preventing them from contracting dangerous waterborne diseases.
