The federal government has announced a major increase in the compensation packages for members of the Civil Armed Forces (CAF) who are martyrs or injured in the line of duty.
The interior ministry confirmed that the new policy brings their benefits in line with the compensation already given to the Islamabad Police. This step aims to recognize the sacrifices of CAF personnel and provide their families with stronger financial support.
Under the updated policy, the families of CAF martyrs from Grade 1 to Grade 9 will now receive 10 million rupees. For officers in Grade 20 and above, the compensation amount has been raised to 20 million rupees.
These new rates mark a significant rise from the limits set in 2020 and are meant to ensure that the families of fallen personnel receive proper assistance during difficult times.
The government has also improved compensation for those who are injured while performing their duties. Personnel who suffer serious injuries will be given 200,000 rupees, while those with minor injuries will receive 100,000 rupees.
These increases reflect the government’s commitment to supporting the health and well-being of officers who put their lives at risk to protect the country.
Officials say the revised compensation structure is part of a broader effort to strengthen the welfare system for security forces.
By matching the benefits of the Islamabad Police, the government aims to create uniformity and fairness across different security departments. The new policy is also expected to boost morale among CAF personnel, who play a key role in maintaining internal security and responding to emergencies.
With this updated compensation package, the government hopes to honor the sacrifices of the Civil Armed Forces and ensure their families are cared for with respect, dignity, and financial stability.
