The craze to buy iPhone 14 made a couple in the Indian State of West Bengal sell their eight-month-old baby. According to the Indian media, the couple lives in North 24 Parganas district, decided to sell their baby to buy the latest iPhone 14 and make Instagram reels.
The incident was brought to light when the concerned neighbors realized that the couple’s baby is missing and they had not taken any action. Lodging a complaint with the police to investigate the matter revealed the whole story.
The mother confessed that they sold their child to buy the iPhone and make content for Instagram and publish for West Bengal. The couple is held accountable for their actions. Moreover, the woman who purchased the baby is also being investigated on charges of human trafficking.
