Pakistani cricketer Sohaib Maqsood has thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi after his car was finally recovered nearly nine months after it was taken.
According to Sohaib, the car had been caught up in a major financial fraud case. The person who bought it reportedly used political influence to avoid paying the full amount. Tired of waiting and wanting to avoid a long legal battle, Sohaib shared a video on social media explaining the situation and asking for help from the government.
After his appeal, the authorities took quick action. The Regional Police Officer (RPO) and City Police Officer (CPO) of Multan worked together with the Punjab government to investigate the case and ensure that the car was returned safely to Sohaib.
He expressed his gratitude to all those involved, appreciating their swift response and cooperation. Sohaib said that this timely action restored his faith in justice and showed that with the right support, ordinary citizens can also get fair treatment.
