Cristiano Ronaldo, Portuguese soccer star player has set world record for highest goals after breaking powerful hat-trick that helped Manchester United defeat Tottenham in the Premier League.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored 807 goals, surpassing Austro-Czech Josef Bican who was all-time leading scorer (805).
Ronaldo opened his campaign in outrageous fashion with a long-range shot in the 12th minute to become the top scorer in professional football history with his third goal.
Man United have secured 4th place with fifty points on the board, overtaking Arsenal, who meet Leicester City on Sunday.
The best footballer also celebrated success on social media. Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Very happy with my first hat trick since coming back to Old Trafford!
