Mufti Abdul Qavi had a non-custom paid vehicle seized from him by Customs Intelligence while he was refuelling it at a petrol station in Islamabad’s D-12 district.
According to sources, a non-custom-paid automobile was seized by Customs Intelligence employees based on earlier intelligence. The officials took Qavi’s “Jaguar” vehicle after the cleric was unable to present the required paperwork to Customs Intelligence employees.
Customs’ efforts to confiscate non-custom-paid autos have recently increased. According to sources, the Customs Collectorate Islamabad also seized a pricey Bentley car a few days ago.
