Dawoodi Bohra Community in Pakistan Celebrating Eid ul Fitr Today

The Dawoodi Bohra community in Pakistan is celebrating Eidul Fitr today with religious devotion. Special Eid prayers were held in mosques across the country, with the biggest gathering taking place at Tahiri Mosque in Karachi’s Saddar area. People in other cities also marked the occasion with prayers and festivities.

After the Eid prayers, worshippers made special prayers for Pakistan’s peace, security, and prosperity. The day is being celebrated with traditional joy, as families and friends come together to share festive meals and exchange greetings.

Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today to check for the Shawwal moon sighting and decide the official Eid date for the rest of the country. The meeting, led by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, will be held at 6:00 PM at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

If the crescent moon is sighted, the rest of Pakistan will celebrate Eidul Fitr on Monday, March 31, 2025. People are eagerly waiting for the committee’s decision, as it will confirm the exact date of Eid for most of the country.

Eidul Fitr is a time of joy and gratitude, marking the end of Ramadan. It is celebrated with prayers, charity, and gatherings with loved ones. The Dawoodi Bohra community has already started their celebrations, while others in Pakistan await the final announcement.
