According to the official sources, the amount that is recently deposited in Roshan Digital Accounts- RDA has now crossed over $800 million mark only during seven months’ time.
This increase highlights on the back of the inflows of $212 Million that was reported in March. However, these inflows have been accelerating almost every month since RDA launches in 2020, September, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.
The Roshan Digital Account if usually for the Non-Resident Pakistanis- NRPs who are just seeking to take on the banking, investment as well as the payment activities in the country, Pakistan.
However, the NRPs will fully be integrated through these accounts with the banking in Pakistan and also with the payments systems.
For the first time in Pakistan’s history, the NRPs will easily be able to open their account in Pakistan; moreover, it will be without any physical presence requirement in Pakistan or in consulate or any embassy.
