Dr. Saira Siddique, Founder and CEO of MedIQ Smart Healthcare, has been selected as Pakistan’s first female Endeavor Entrepreneur at the 105th International Selection Panel (ISP) held in Stellenbosch, South Africa, marking a historic milestone for the country’s startup ecosystem.
The selection represents a significant breakthrough for women-led innovation, health technology, and Pakistan’s growing presence within global entrepreneurial networks. MedIQ is now the eighth Endeavor-backed company from Pakistan, reinforcing the country’s emergence as a hub for high-impact, scalable technology ventures.
Founded in 2022, MedIQ Smart Healthcare is building a unified digital healthcare ecosystem that connects patients, healthcare providers, and insurance payers through an integrated platform. The company enables access to both online and in-person care, supports hospitals and clinics in digitizing operations, and allows insurers to efficiently manage claims and track utilization through centralized electronic health records.
After achieving strong traction and profitability in Pakistan, MedIQ expanded to Saudi Arabia in 2023, executing a market-specific go-to-market strategy and demonstrating the platform’s regional scalability.
Speaking on the achievement, Dr. Siddique said,
“This recognition is more than a personal milestone. It reflects the growing confidence in innovation emerging from Pakistan and sends a clear message that women founders from this region are building world-class companies with global impact.”
Endeavor’s International Selection Panel is widely regarded as one of the most rigorous entrepreneur evaluation processes globally, assessing candidates on leadership, scale potential, and commitment to building enduring institutions. Dr. Siddique’s selection places MedIQ within Endeavor’s global network of high-impact founders across more than 40 markets.
The milestone also highlights the role of ecosystem partners, including Endeavor Pakistan, Ignite, and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, in supporting the growth of globally competitive startups from Pakistan.
