In a daring robbery in Karachi, the driver of a cash van made off with Rs200 million. After filing a report on the heist, the Meethadar police department initiated an inquiry.
On August 9, the heist took place in the city’s I.I. Chundrigar neighborhood. According to the authorities, private business guards left to deliver cash to a bank on I.I. Chundrigar road.
When the cash van arrived at its destination, the driver fled with the vehicle. At the same time, one of the guards exited the vehicle with some cash and entered the bank. The police added that the van’s driver fled with roughly Rs200 million in cash after abandoning the vehicle in Miskeen Gali in the old city area.
