In order to lead its multibillion-dollar investment strategy into Pakistan, DP World, the largest port and logistics operator in the world, has announced that it has appointed Pakistani celebrity and longtime UAE resident Fakhar-e-Alam as vice chairman.
In its news announcement, DP Global made special mention of Alam’s love for Pakistan and his constructive contribution in promoting investment in Pakistan during these trying times.
Upon being informed of his new position, Alam said that he was extremely honoured and grateful to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, the ruler of Dubai, His Excellency Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and the leadership of DP World for providing him this chance.

DP World, the crown jewel company of Dubai, is currently valued at about $90 billion and is expanding. It is run by Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, a very vivacious and passionate chairman.
