Expo City Dubai has announced the temporary closure of two of its popular attractions, “Garden in the Sky” and “Rashid’s Playground,” starting from October 1, 2023. The announcement was made on X (formerly Twitter), but no specific date for the reopening of these attractions was provided.
Earlier this year, in May, Expo City Dubai had temporarily closed the “Garden in the Sky” for routine maintenance. Operations resumed at the beginning of August after the necessary upkeep.
The “Garden in the Sky” is a unique rotating observation tower that elevates visitors 55 meters above the ground, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. It boasts an upper deck adorned with greenery, creating a serene atmosphere. At night, the tower’s base is illuminated, adding to its allure.
“Rashid’s Playground” is situated at Jubilee Park and is a vibrant and playful space designed for children. This ocean-themed adventure area features playful elements like sharks on springs, whale-shaped slides, ocean liners to explore, and an interactive 3D maze model for children to enjoy.
While the temporary closure of these attractions may disappoint some visitors, it’s important to remember that these measures are often taken to ensure the safety and quality of the experiences offered. Keep an eye on Expo City Dubai’s official announcements for updates on when these attractions will be reopened for the public to enjoy once again.
