Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Shares Iftar With Autistic Children And Their Families

April is National Autism Awareness Month, which increases awareness of both autism and Asperger’s syndrome. Autism is a serious brain condition that impairs one’s capacity for both communication and environmental awareness. His Highness, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also participated in the awareness month’s spirit by attending an Iftar banquet at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai with families of autistic children.

Her Highness Hessa Buhumaid, the Minister of State and Director General of the Community Development Authority, also attended this event. Along with the directors of Centers for People of Determination, several other high authorities were also present at this Iftar.

Sheikh Hamdan stated, “All people of determination deserve to receive the highest quality of services. I was delighted to participate in the Iftar banquet and interact with the children and their families.”

On his Twitter page, Prince Hamdan also posted a video from the occasion that provides an insight of this heartwarming interaction with the kids and their families.
