The dispute about whether it is currently possible to forecast a significant earthquake has been made scientists.
However, on February 3, a researcher by the name of Frank Hoogerbeets raised a warning that has come to pass in light of recent fatal earthquake activity in Turkey and Syria.
The earthquake was predicted in a tweet by Frank Hoogerbeets, who, according to his Twitter bio, works for the Dutch organization Solar System Geometry Survey (SSGS).
He predicted on Twitter that an M 7.5 earthquake would occur in this area (South-Central Turkey, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon) “sooner or later.”
His forecast went viral after Monday’s devastating earthquake as internet users expressed awe at how accurately he predicted the natural disaster, which claimed hundreds of lives and destroyed a significant amount of infrastructure in southeast Turkey.
