Elon Musk’s Tesla Delivered Over 466,000 Vehicles in 3 Months

Tesla Inc achieved a new record for vehicle deliveries in the second quarter, surpassing market expectations. The company, led by Elon Musk, delivered 466,000 vehicles between April and June. This exceeded the average estimate of 445,000 deliveries by analysts.

In the same quarter last year, Tesla had delivered 254,695 vehicles. Despite facing competition from market leader BYD, Tesla is expected to achieve another sales record in China, its second-largest market.

Tesla has also made strides in the electric vehicle fast-charging sector. Companies like Ford Motor and General Motors, as well as fast-charging equipment manufacturers, have agreed to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS).

To boost sales, Tesla increased discounts for vehicles in its inventory and made all Model 3 vehicles eligible for the full federal credit in the United States. They also reduced prices globally earlier this year to address falling short of Wall Street’s delivery estimates for 2022.
