Embracing the Spirit of Ramzan: Lifebuoy’s ‘Achayi Ka Haath Barhao’ Campaign Inspires Acts of Kindness

Ramzan is the most sacred and blessed month for Muslims around the world. It is a time for deep connection with Allah through prayer, worship, and the performance of good deeds. While Ramzan invites us to focus on self-reflection and spiritual growth, it also reminds us of the power of kindness and generosity. Lifebuoy’s “Achayi Ka Haath Barhao” Campaign beautifully captures this spirit, encouraging families to engage in small but meaningful acts of kindness that not only bring joy to others but also earn the blessings of Allah. These gestures don’t have to be grand; sometimes, the simplest acts of empathy, positivity, and goodwill—done with pure intentions—have the greatest impact. Through this campaign, we’re reminded that Ramzan is not only about fasting and prayers but also about spreading love, care, and compassion within our communities.

Carrying out good deeds, no matter how big or small, was the beating heart of Lifebuoy’s “Achayi Ka Haath Barhao” campaign that lasted throughout the auspicious month of Ramzan. The idea was to educate our young ones about the magnitude of good deeds and how they can make a world of a difference in someone’s life.

As part of the campaign, a special box of good deeds called the “Little Hands, Big Blessings” was sent to notable celebrities and KOLs who talked about the contents of the box and what it represents on their social media platforms. This resulted in uplifting videos that also featured their kids, who got a lesson on practicing kindness, cleanliness, and what matters most in Ramzan after worship and fasting. The boxes were designed and compiled while keeping in mind the purpose every item will fulfill for the young ones this Ramzan. The contents included a hygiene card that would serve as a remind for the kids to practice hygiene and cleanliness, their very own prayer mat that would keep them motivated to pray regularly, a Naiki Box, much like a piggy bank for them to save money which can be donated towards the end of the month, as well as a Roadmap fridge magnet that would act as a planner for the young ones for the holy month, and Lifebuoy Handwash. The most important item of them all was an Activity Book that had good deeds for them to practice, stories and lessons for the blessed month.

The campaign began with a special PR box called “Little Hands, Big Blessings…” which was sent out to prominent content creators who created heartfelt and wholesome content with their kids and instilled the values of good hygiene, kindness, and the true spirit of the holy month of Ramzan. A lot of thought and creativity went into curating the perfect box for this phase of the campaign. Designed with Lifebuoy’s classic red color, the box consisted of an Activity Book Kit that had engaging tasks, stories, and lessons for the little ones. One of the first sections of the book was focused on carrying out good deeds during the blessed month called the 30 Days, 30 Good Deeds. Apart from that, there was a hygiene card to educate kids on cleanliness, a prayer mat to encourage establishing daily prayers, and a Naiki Box, where kids could save money and donate it to those in need. Other items included a Ramzan Roadmap that allowed kids to plan out their days in Ramzan, which also doubled up as a fridge magnet, and a Lifebuoy Handwash to explain to the kids that hygiene is an essential part of daily routines. Cleanliness, after all, is an essential part of Islam.

In the second phase of Lifebuoy’s “Achayi Ka Haath Barhao” Campaign, content creators were tasked with sharing meaningful moments with their children and family members, highlighting the importance of doing good deeds during Ramzan. Beyond worship and prayers, this holy month offers a unique opportunity to extend a helping hand to those in need and perform small, impactful acts of kindness that bring immense joy to Allah, resulting in His blessings.

Influencers demonstrated how simple it is for children to practice generosity, such as donating toys or clothes to those in need, teaching them to give away things they value. This was also displayed in heartfelt moments like hosting an iftar party for the house help, ensuring they too could experience the joys of the season. Another powerful message was about reaching out to the elderly who often feel neglected or sidelined during Ramzan by visiting them and spending quality time together. Just sitting with them and listening to their stories brightens up their entire day. Additionally, being someone’s Spiritual Buddy emerged as a beautiful practice where children paired up with siblings, cousins, or even parents, encouraging one another to perform good deeds, pray together, and support each other throughout the holy month.

Lastly, Lifebuoy organized an intimate and wholesome iftar event at Edhi Child Home where the kids got to experience unadulterated joy and happiness. The Eid card making activity brought out their inner artists, and all the other activities let them be kids again and experience warmth and fun that every kid deserves. Notable television personalities, including Sunita Marshall, Fatima Effendi, and Juggun Kazim also joined Lifebuoy during this evening who added to the whole experience. It all came to a satisfying conclusion when all the attendees joined the kids at the Edhi home to break their fast and share a meal together.

As the “Achayi Ka Haath Barhao” Campaign comes to an end, it serves as a beautiful reminder that the impact of kindness is far-reaching, and every small gesture counts. Lifebuoy has shown us how simple acts of generosity—whether donating clothes, sharing meals, or offering time to those in need—can make a real difference in the lives of others. These moments not only brighten someone’s day but also reflect the true spirit of Ramzan: love, compassion, and gratitude. As we move forward, may the message of Achayi Ka Haath Barhao inspire us to continue spreading kindness and creating positive change in our communities, long after the holy month has passed.
