The Punjab Industries Department, in collaboration with the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), will offer free technical courses to students from government schools during their summer vacations.

The Departments of Industries, School Education, and Higher Education will work together to organize these courses in nine divisions of Punjab, namely Bahawalpur, Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Faisalabad, and Sialkot.

The courses will cover a wide range of skills, including domestic electricity, heating and ventilation, plumbing, air-conditioning, tailoring, refrigeration, computer applications, beautician training, cooking, safety inspection, kitchen gardening, embroidery, and offset printing. Students will not be required to pay any fees for these courses.

TEVTA aims to empower and equip the youth with demand-driven skills that are of high quality. These technical courses have been designed to create economic opportunities through entrepreneurship and job placements in both local and international markets.
