The Ethiopian flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, announced on Friday that it will start operating from Karachi on May 1.
The pan-African airline will fly four times per week and is anticipated to play a significant role in bridging the gap between South Asian countries and the continent of Africa.
The airline’s chief executive Mesfin Tasew stated in a statement that flights to Pakistan are important for fostering closer diplomatic and commercial connections between the two areas. The airline will provide convenient air connectivity to the increasing number of Pakistani tourists and investors in Africa, the official continued.
