Etihad Airways to Launch Direct Flights to Peshawar

Etihad Airways has announced that it will start direct flights to Peshawar, Pakistan, beginning on September 29, 2025. This move will help the airline strengthen its presence in South Asia and make travel easier for people going between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.

The new flight route will connect Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport with Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar. With this addition, Peshawar will become the fourth city in Pakistan served by Etihad Airways, joining Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore.

At first, Etihad will operate this route five times a week. However, starting from November 22, 2025, the airline plans to increase the frequency to daily flights. These flights will be operated using the Airbus A320, a modern aircraft equipped with 8 Business Class seats and 150 Economy Class seats, offering comfort and convenience to all types of travelers.

In addition to the new Peshawar route, Etihad Airways is also expanding its services to Karachi. Beginning October 1, the airline will increase its Karachi flights to 17 times per week. This increase in flights shows Etihad’s commitment to improving connectivity between Pakistan and the UAE, offering more options and flexibility for travelers whether they are flying for business, family visits, or tourism.
