Saeed Ghani, Sindh’s Minister for Information, declared on Wednesday that the province’s 47,000 teachers are hired on merit, as evidenced by the fact that his own sister failed the exam.
Ghani said they had improved the province’s education system while speaking at a scholarship ceremony for a private institution in Karachi.
“I designed the education policy and remained dedicated to merit-based recruiting, which saw my sister fail in the process,” he claimed.
Saeed Ghani asserted that the Sindh province’s curriculum books are superior to those in other provinces, and that they may be adopted by other provinces.
However, he stated that it is the right of parents to choose educational mediums such as Sindhi, English, and Urdu.
