Following Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s achievement as the world’s No. 1 batsman, opener Fakhar Zaman has achieved career highs in the ICC’s ODI rankings.
After reaching back-to-back centuries against South Africa, Fakhar Zaman has reached his career-high ranking of 7 in the ICC table. The left-handed batsman had jumped seven positions to 12th place in the previous ICC rankings.
In the three-match series against the Proteas, Fakhar scored 302 runs, including two impressive hundred in the second and third One-Day Internationals. Fakhar Zaman scored 193 runs in the second One-Day International.
He climbed five positions in the ICC ODI rankings thanks to a century in the third ODI.
