The FBISE- Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education has recently set a new policy that states that two exams will be conducted for SSC- the Secondary School Certificate and also for the HSSC- the Higher Secondary School Certificate; however, these will be conducted every year in the months of May and September.
This new policy is expected to be effective for the academic year of 2022 as it will offer a great opportunity for students who have failed any paper will be allowed to take a retake any time as the exams will be conducted semiannually to save the time of students.
Moreover, Board of Governors of FBISE had also agreed to hold the annual exams for the 8th Class and this will be for the first time as the combination of additional courses is going to be added in which biology, mathematics, economics, chemistry or environmental studies are expected to be included.
