FBR Imposes Tax of Rs 43 Million on Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is on radar of FBR.

FBR imposes a Mammoth tax of Rs 43 Million on renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan after they found secret banks account with the amount of almost Rs 60 million.

The Federal Board of Revenue is a government institution that collects taxes from the general public. The FBR discovered that singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan holds several secret bank accounts, however, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan claimed that he has only two bank accounts.

The singer wasn’t able to answer the amount he possessed and the transactions made.

Federal Board of Revenue approached singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to explain the transactions, however, after receiving no satisfactory answer from the singer, the Federal Board of Revenue ordered him to pay Rs43 million in taxes within one month
