The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is anticipated to announce a cash award program for customers who shop at Integrated Tier-1 businesses soon.

Customers who make purchases at Tier-1 retailers integrated with the Point of Sale (POS) system will be eligible to win rewards if they submit legitimate sale receipts.
Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin declared at a post-budget press conference on June 12 that the government would establish a prize scheme of Rs250 million to encourage buyers to receive an original receipt from businesses.
He claimed that the initiative would encourage buyers to keep their original receipts and submit a duplicate to the FBR to win cash awards.
