A passenger has been arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) at Lahore International Airport for attempting to travel to the United Kingdom on his twin brother’s passport. The passenger, identified as Mazhar Ahmed, was caught by FIA Immigration officials while boarding flight VS365. The accused was later offloaded and arrested with the help of Border Management System records.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the accused was attempting to travel on the passport of his twin brother, Wajahat Ahmed, who was on a study visa. Initial investigations reveal that Mazhar Ahmed belongs to Chiniot and had disguised himself as his twin brother to board the flight to the UK. The accused has been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore for further legal action.
