The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing has finished planning a large operation against those who have created bogus identities on social media platforms like Facebook and are robbing citizens of their hard-earned money.
Residents’ phone IDs are being made, according to FIA sources, in order to rob their relatives and close acquaintances, and such cases are increasing on a regular basis. They said, “The Cyber Crime Wing will shortly shatter the entire network behind the bogus IDs.”
According to authorities, in 2021, the FIA received over 7,000 written complaints from citizens alleging that money was “extracted from their close relatives through deception.”
