During his official visit to the United States, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, expressed deep appreciation for overseas Pakistanis, calling them the true ambassadors of the country. He acknowledged their important role in supporting Pakistan through the money they send back home, their investments, and their achievements in various fields around the world.

While speaking at a large gathering in Washington, DC, General Asim Munir highlighted the need for continued cooperation between Pakistan and its diaspora. He said that working together is essential to solve common challenges and to help Pakistan grow stronger and more stable.

The event saw a warm and enthusiastic welcome from overseas Pakistanis, who praised the efforts and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, particularly in the successful Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. They showed pride in the military’s performance and expressed hope for a brighter future for the country.

Although the visit happened at the same time as the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, the main focus of General Munir’s trip was to strengthen military and strategic relations between Pakistan and the United States. His meetings and speeches reflected a serious commitment to improving cooperation and building long-term partnerships between the two countries.
