FIFA Will Raise $75 Million for Soccer-Related Projects in Gaza, Donald Trump

FIFA has joined hands with the Board of Peace to help rebuild Gaza through football-related projects. The plan was shared after a meeting led by former US President Donald Trump. As part of this effort, FIFA hopes to collect around $75 million to support different sports and community projects in the area.

The proposed projects include building 50 small football pitches in neighborhoods, five full-size football grounds, a FIFA training academy for young players, and a large national stadium with space for 20,000 spectators. These facilities are meant to give young people safe places to play, train, and take part in positive activities. The idea is to use football as a way to bring hope, unity, and normal life back to communities affected by conflict.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the programme is not only about sports. He explained that it will also help create jobs, support local workers, and encourage young people to stay engaged in healthy activities. The goal is to strengthen communities and give families new opportunities for growth and development.

However, there are still some difficulties that could slow down the plan. Issues such as security conditions, disarmament requirements, and access for humanitarian workers may affect how quickly the projects can move forward. Even so, FIFA says it remains committed to supporting Gaza’s reconstruction and using football as a tool for positive change.
